We’re lucky enough to have the brilliant Keren Fraser, an extremely talented printmaker who creates some incredible fabric pieces (think linen, cushions, wallpapers and all sorts of other brilliant things that interior lovers will adore) showcasing her works next month from 8th to 12th August. A great free night out, you’ll be able to revel in some of her integrated scenes and vignettes. What’s Happening Around the Pickle District?

Linton and Kay Gallery
The Young Guns – To the Left free exhibition has kicked off this week and will be running until 27th August showcasing some of WA’s best and brightest local artists like Sam Bloor, Luke Morgan and Isabelle DeKline along with a bunch of other talented people. Find out more info here.

House of Hobby

Holmes à Court Gallery
This bright hidden space will be hosting the Mangkaja: 30 Years Strong exhibit from 27th  August commemorating thirty years of First Nations art creation in the Fitzroy Crossing community. The artists focus on stories of social justice, displacement and environmentalism, and is set to be an extremely moving and memorable display.

What’s going on around Cleaver Street?

Cleaver Street & Co’s unique warehouse events venue space and coffee shop is located in the Pickle District in West Perth, a burgeoning arts hub occupying reactivated industrial spaces. There’s tonnes of great events and spaces to discover in the area. Grab a coffee from Cleaver Street Coffee Shop and take a walk around the neighbourhood!
