Brew Network – Shout a coffee on us!
Cleaver Street Coffee Shop is a partner venue with Brew Network; a smart phone app that allows you to shout a coffee for a friend or colleague and supports our local cafes, small bars and arts industry. To celebrate the opening of our new cafe and parklet in the evolving Pickle District Arts Precinct we invite you to send a few coffees out to friends and ‘Meet Up In the Pickle’ to check out all the amazing arts venues in the Pickle District!
To get you started, download the app, click ‘Send a Brew’ and use the voucher code: PICKLE on the cart page to send two free coffees to your friends that they can claim from Cleaver Street Coffee Shop, and begin your exploring with a coffee on us!

Mel Clements: Artist in Residency
After her wildly popular exhibition ‘We Prepare a Face’ in December 2020, Cleaver Street is so thrilled to be hosting local artist Melissa Clements in a series of painting workshops in our B-side warehouse space from June 16th to 19th this year with two unique workshops designed for both beginners and art aficionados alike!
• Verdaccio: Introduction to Renaissance Style Underpainting (Thursday 16th and Saturday 18th June)
• Mixing Skin Tones: Colour, Value, Chroma (Friday 17th and Sunday 19th June)
All art materials and canvas panels will be provided, so if you’re interested jump in here before places sell out, and follow Mel on socials @melclmnts to be inspired.

We’re obsessed with these guys and their private screening cinema that you can book out for you and your nearest and dearest! With a fully stocked bar, this place is perfect for an unique birthday celebration or a great work function space with a twist. Check out some of their fantastic deals they’re holding over winter.
House Of Hobby
Our mates at HoH are constantly hosting some incredibly fun and creative events. Some of our faves include their ‘Vibrant Landscapes’ Painting and Prosecco coming up on 10th June or their Pottery and Wine Date Night on the 24th June. There’s nothing like taking a wander through this gorgeous quaint little gallery tucked around the corner on Old Aberdeen Street. As some of the most renowned curators in the business, the team at Linton and Kay constantly exhibit astounding local and international works for your artist inspiration.
